To the gentleman looling for a place to stay while fishing - my place is about 10 minute drive away in Plain, but it is a great place to kick back after a hard day of hooking trout.
We plan on fishing this Sunday. We were out a couple weeks ago and the ice was marginally safe. Looks like it has been cold there recently though and I was wondering is anyone out their fishing?
Went fishing on the lake over the weekend between 4 of us we caught 40 trout and 5 perch the ice is still good should hold up for another week or so just use your own judgment..
Any reports on how the ice is and/or how is the trout fishing. Were thinking of making our semi-annual trip over but heard the ice wasn't good this year?
